Yasha did a terrible job of arguing his point about Trump vs wokism halfway through the episode with his tangents about logic and echo chambers. He seems to be saying:
1. The left and the right in America, especially figures who focus on cultural issues, are in agreement that Russia is trying to destabilize the United States and destroy the American way of life by causing "divisiveness".
2. The techniques to achieve this were developed by the Soviets, and the collapse of the Soviet Union did not deter the planners in the Russian government, who continued their programmes uninterrupted.
3. The main point of contention between right and left is what their instruments are. Is it neo-Marxist wokeness, or is it Trump and his active measures?
-----
I would add that the court Russians and neo-Kremlinologists on both sides sprinkle Russian vocabulary and communist jargon into their discussions to impress credulous audiences and emphasize their authenticity. I appreciate the fact that you guys never do this yourselves!
What a great podcast!

Where can someone find this series of articles from China analyzing the collapse of the USSR?
I'll try to dig them up. Remind me if I don't post anything here in a day or two.

French author. Haven't read it yet but talks about the empty bladder of the Russian liberal intellectual post-Soviet fall. Wondering if it's insightful or just European propaganda. If ye haven't heard of it, no worries. Only came across it myself today.
It's actually spelled "Roosky" . . . .
